Aim Training Guide

Master your aim with proven techniques and training methods

Essential Aim Techniques

🎯

Crosshair Placement

Keep your crosshair at head level and pre-aim common angles where enemies might appear.

β€’Always aim at head height
β€’Pre-aim corners and common positions
β€’Minimize the distance your crosshair needs to travel
β€’Use map knowledge to anticipate enemy positions
πŸ”«

Spray Control

Master the recoil patterns of weapons to maintain accuracy during sustained fire.

β€’Learn weapon-specific recoil patterns
β€’Practice pulling down and to the sides
β€’Burst fire for medium range
β€’First 10 bullets are most accurate
πŸ“

Tracking

Follow moving targets smoothly with your crosshair to maintain consistent accuracy.

β€’Practice smooth mouse movements
β€’Lead moving targets slightly
β€’Match target velocity
β€’Use arm aiming for large movements
⚑

Flick Shots

Quickly snap your crosshair to targets and fire accurately in one motion.

β€’Build muscle memory through practice
β€’Stay relaxed to avoid overcorrection
β€’Use wrist for small flicks
β€’Combine with counter-strafing

πŸ–±οΈ Finding Your Perfect Sensitivity

Sensitivity is highly personal, but most pros use relatively low sensitivity for better precision. The key is finding a balance that allows both precise aiming and quick 180Β° turns.

Low Sens (400-800 eDPI)

Best for precision and tracking. Requires large mousepad. Used by most professional players.

Medium Sens (800-1200 eDPI)

Good balance between precision and mobility. Easier to make quick turns.

High Sens (1200+ eDPI)

Very fast movements, less precise. Requires excellent mouse control and is uncommon at pro level.

eDPI Formula: DPI Γ— In-Game Sensitivity
Example: 800 DPI Γ— 1.0 sens = 800 eDPI
